Micah Brown (June 12, 1986, in Staten Island, New York) is a Canadian football quarterback from the U.S. who played for the Saint Mary's Huskies (2010) and led his team to a victory in the Loney Bowl and an appearance in the Mitchell Bowl. Micah also has International, European and professional playing experience.

Professional career

CFL/NFL

Brown was placed on the practice roster for the 2009 Toronto Argonauts season. Invited to private a workout then training camp and OTA's with the Buffalo Bills NFL.

College and International career

Micah accepted an athletic scholarship from Auburn University (NCAA, Div. 1) after graduating from high school in Tampa, Florida, changed over in mid-season to Southwest Mississippi Community College (Juco). In his 2nd season, he played for West Virginia University Tech (Div. 2) and in the 3rd year, at St. Paul's College (Div2). During his college holidays he played with several semi-pro teams and also played in Germany, Italy and France until he found his way to Basel, Switzerland. After his successful season in Switzerland he went to Canada, where he trained with the Hamilton Tiger-cats (CFL) and was afterwards admitted to the practice squad of the Toronto Argonauts (CFL). In his last season, Micah played for the Canadian, Saint Mary's University (CIS) and then competed in Austria for the IFAF World Championships of American Football, where he and the United States national American football team won the Gold Medal. He was most recently involved with the Bills (NFL) for his outstanding performance.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

High school career

Brown attended Tampa Bay Technical and Howard W. Blake High Schools (Tampa, Florida) where he played high school football, and basketball. Brown was a PrepStar and SuperPrep All-American in football. Also noted that Brown was the 2003 Gatorade Player of the Year in his Junior season where he amassed 1,003 passing yards and 16 touchdowns to a mere 4 interceptions in just four games, before breaking his throwing arm. Brown was invited to the Elite 11 Quarterback Camp that was held at UNLV and also the Nike Combine at the University of Alabama. Brown was included in one of the biggest recruiting classes in the nation, when his high school had 22 commitments to play college football and 21 of those to be at a Division 1 university.
